The Lakelands Sports Guys, Tom Karel and Chris Cox, are former sports talk radio host that cover high school and Lander University plus Erskine college sports around the Greenwood SC area. Along with Clemson and South Carolina sports. The guys talk a lot about football, basketball and baseball but Tom makes sure Chris is informed on the Olympic and ladies sports teams too.

The high school Basketball region play began this week with Greenwood hosting the power offense of Greenville. Chris and Tom look at the outcome of that game and how the region stacks up with the big win Greer had over Eastside as the Yellow Jackets face Laurens this Friday night. Also, Greenwood Cross Country has a runner sign his letter of intent and Abbeville has 13 on the Region 1 AA All Region Team!!

Chris and Tom look at the Hiesman outcome and did TL get the raw deal? Does South Carolina need to find a new OC and line coach now that BOBO and Friend are leaving for Auburn...
